From the registration of Cruden Construction in 1966 our group has grown to become a leading independent construction, property and development specialist. 

The Group has seen substantial growth over the past 40 years through the formation of our specialist solutions for clients of construction, development and property services. We bring a truly multi disciplinary approach operating through four subsidiary companies whose integrated teams channel the unique and collective expertise of the group directly to the clients and communities we serve. 

CCG

CCG is a progressive and dynamic organisation offering the full range of construction services.

The group is able to cater for projects of any size and nature - from intricate conversion work, through stock improvements to larger volume new build initiatives. 
We work with a range of blue chip clients across the breath of the industry.

Established in 1974, and our success today is based on traditional skills, modern management techniques and teamwork. Our commitment to quality and approach to partnership working has resulted in the vast majority of our turnover stemming from repeat business framework agreements and positive referrals, customers and partners.

Our goal is always to deliver a construction solution that will delight the customer – and we succeed by putting together the right team, supported by efficient, industry-leading processes.

Central to our project delivery is the substantial direct employee base covering some 500 operatives across key trades. Our vibrant training programme, currently employing 75 apprentices, is further testimony to CCG's commitment to ensuring the replenishment of skilled labour within the construction industry.

Malcolm Group

Originating as a family-owned business in the 1940's, The Malcolm Group has become a leading provider of logistics and construction services, employing assets of over 1,600 people, 450 trucks, 1,000 trailers, 120 items of heavy plant and over 3 million square feet of warehousing throughout the UK.

We provide integrated logistics solutions to a range of 'Blue Chip' customers, incorporating warehousing and handling services, road and rail distribution and supply chain management.

Our Construction Services Division is a one-stop major contractor for groundwork services, waste management and plant and tipper hire.

Our quality of service is renowned and stems from our highly skilled and experienced workforce, complemented by consistent investment in the latest vehicles, equipment, technology and training.

Mactaggart & Mickel

Mactaggart & Mickel is an award winning homebuilder that has been handcrafting homes since 1925. Many Mactaggart & Mickel customers go on to buy two or even three homes in a life time. 

The Mactaggart & Mickel Group comprises our award winning Homes, Timber Systems, Contracts and Commercial Property divisions. With sites across central Scotland, Mactaggart & Mickel has a very strong heritage and still has Mickel family members at the helm of the business.  The company has been involved with many significant events in Glasgow including the Garden Festival and Homes for the Future.

Glasgow City Council

The Athletes’ Village will not only be the home for thousand of athletes and officials during the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, but deliver a stunning new neighbourhood for the city afterwards as Glasgow’s regeneration continues. Glasgow City Council is delighted to be part of this fantastic project, which will bring homes for sale and rent as well as a care home for the elderly.

The construction of the Athletes’ Village will create fantastic opportunities for local people and businesses to show the world what Glasgow can do. The project will deliver a 60% reduction in carbon emissions, underlining the city’s credentials as a leader in sustainability.
